April 2010 - Preotle, Lane & Associates, developer of River's Edge, an office park development in Medford, Massachusetts, purchased 4 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) through Renewable Choice Energy. The purchase is equivalent to 100 percent of the base building's energy use over the next three years. The building has also been awarded the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Environment and Energy Design (LEED) Gold Certification.
