October 2009 - Regis University announced its campus is now purchasing wind energy equivalent to all of its electricity needs. Under a two-year agreement with renewable energy marketer, Community Energy, the university will purchase more than 11 million kWh of renewable energy certificates (RECs) sourced from wind energy projects.
