April 1999 - The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) has entered into an agreement with cleen 'n green to purchase green power for its more than 400 members at prices below those available through the state Power Exchange. Under the agreement, cleen 'n green will make 100% renewable power available to water agency accounts using less than 50 kW. Collectively, ACWA members deliver about 90% of the water in California.
