On September 14, the State of Maine kicked off a media campaign designed to educate the public about the benefits of renewable energy. The Clean Energy Maine campaign will include broadcast, print and Web promotions throughout the state to encourage residents to learn more about and purchase clean energy. With approval from the state legislature, the Office of Energy Independence and Security has provided $50,000 in funding to support the campaign.
