EPA Headquarters Contracts for Green Power

Pepco Energy Services announced that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. General Services Administration to supply renewable energy certificates (RECs) to the Washington D.C. headquarters of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), beginning this month. Under the 37-month contract, the company will supply more than 110 million kWh of RECs from landfill gas generation sources located in the mid-Atlantic region.
