Constellation NewEnergy, a Baltimore-based power marketer, announced that it is supplying green power to nine Starwood hotel properties in New York City during the Republican National Convention. Under the agreement, the marketer is supplying renewable energy credits sourced from Sterling Planet to meet the hotels' anticipated peak demand during the convention, approximately 10 million kWh. EAD Environmental and Constellation NewEnergy also supplied green power to Boston's FleetCenter during the Democratic National Convention in July.
