Connecticut College Doubles Purchase

Connecticut College has entered into an agreement with NY-based EAD Environmental to purchase wind energy for approximately 44% of its annual electricity needs, doubling its previous green power commitment. Under the two-year agreement, the college will purchase 13.3 million kWh of Green-e certified wind energy certificates sourced from wind farms in the United States.
