Sun Power Electric Teams with Grocery Chain

According to a June 20 article in the Providence Journal, Sun Power Electric, a Massachusetts-based, non-profit green power marketer, is teaming with Shaw's Supermarkets, a grocery chain with stores throughout New England, to sell Sun Power's Regen product in three Shaw's stores beginning this summer. Regen is a Green-e certified product supplied from solar and landfill gas resources, which is sold in annual blocks of 2,000 kilowatt-hours. As part of the agreement, the three Shaw's stores are purchasing Regen for the equivalent of about 25% of their electricity needs.
