The Green Power Market Development Group (GPMDG) announced that member companies have recently signed deals to obtain 97 MW of power from renewable and other clean energy generation options. Among the various commitments are purchases totaling 15 MW of wind energy and 36 MW of renewable energy certificates. The GPMDG is a commercial and industrial partnership of 12 companies dedicated to building corporate markets for green power, which is facilitated by the World Resources Institute (WRI).
