The Plumsted Township Committee has contracted with ConEdison Solutions to purchase the Township's power supply for 2013. The contract with ConEdison Solutions was selected from among seven competing bids from power suppliers and is expected to save residents an average of 14 percent over that offered by Jersey Central Power & Light, the Township's standard power provider. In addition to saving residents money, the Plumsted Community Energy Aggregation Program also contracts with ConEdison Solutions to ensure 10 percent of the power procured by the Township will originate from renewable energy resources.
