Bloomberg Becomes First 'WindMade' News Organization

Bloomberg L.P. has announced that it has become the first news organization in the world to receive the WindMade label by powering at least 25 percent of its electrical demand with wind power. The WindMade label is a global consumer label that identifies products or companies that are operated or made with wind energy.

In total, Bloomberg greatly exceeds the required threshold to achieve the WindMade designation by powering 58 percent of its U.S. operations with wind power and an additional 25 percent with biomass.
