In total, Lincoln Center will purchase an estimated 21.6 million kilowatt-hours of wind power each year over the course of a new three-year REC purchase contract. In addition, The Julliard School, which has purchased partial renewable energy in the past, will join Lincoln Center in purchasing 100 percent renewable energy to match the electricity use of its classrooms, practice rooms, stages, and dormitories.
