Greenerprinter & Giovanni Food Co. Join Green-e Marketplace

February 2012 - Greenerprinter and Giovanni Food Company have joined Green-e Marketplace by purchasing Green-e Energy certified renewable energy certificates to meet their electricity demands. By participating in Green-e Marketplace, both companies can now display the Green-e logo to inform customers of their purchases of renewable energy.

Greenerprinter purchased 304 megawatt-hours (MWh) of Green-e Energy certified wind power, enough to meet 100 percent of the annual electricity needs for its U.S. operations, including its headquarters and printing facility. The purchase is supplied by Sterling Planet. Giovanni Food Company's purchase of 1,440 MWh of Green-e Energy certified wind is supplied by Constellation Energy.
