Ross (CA) and Novato (CA) to Join Marin Clean Energy Authority

The Town of Ross (CA) and the City of Novato (CA) city councils voted to join the Marin Clean Energy Authority. Ross residents and businesses will be enrolled in Marin Clean Energy beginning July 2012, and Novato customers will be enrolled in the program in summer 2012 as well. Ratepayers will be automatically enrolled in Marin Clean Energy programs unless they choose to opt out and remain with the current utility, Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E).

Marin Clean Energy Authority provides two electricity options for customers; a Light Green option which contains a minimum of 27% renewable energy, and a Deep Green option which provides customers with 100% renewable energy.
