Arizona State University Achieves 10 MW Solar Milestone

Arizona State University (ASU) completed a 168 kilowatt-hour (kWh) solar installation at the Verde Dickey Dome in ASU's Tempe campus. This latest solar achievement increased ASU's total PV solar capacity to 10.12 megawatts (MW) throughout the school's four campuses.

An additional 5 MW of solar installations are planned through the end of 2011, which would increase the ASU's solar capacity to 15 MW, enough to meet 30% of the university's peak electricity demands.
