North American Power, a green power marketer in the Mid-Atlantic states, launched its American Wind renewable energy certificate (RECs) product. The RECs can be purchased for 1.2 cents per kilowatt hour and are Green-e Energy certified. As with all North American Power products, a portion of American Wind customer bills are donated to a charity of their choice.
