Pasta Prima Uses 100% Green Power

Pasta Prima, a refrigerated pasta brand of Valley Fine Foods, has purchased enough green power to meet the annual electricity needs for its entire operations. The company is using a 483 kW on-site solar system to meet approximately 70 percent of its electricity needs and is purchasing nearly 700,000 kWh of Green-e Energy Certified renewable energy certificates to match the rest of its electricity use. With Pasta Prima's commitment, the company has joined the Green-e Marketplace program, which enables it to display the Green-e logo on their products.
