Eagles Plan to Install Wind, Biodiesel, and Solar

The Philadelphia Eagles announced plans to install 2,500 solar panels, 80 spiral-shaped wind turbines, and an on-site dual-fuel cogeneration plant. The initiative is part of a partnership with Solar Blue, and is anticipated to allow Lincoln Financial Field to generate as much energy as it uses. The installations are expected to be complete in September 2011.
