Drexel University Purchases 100% Wind

Drexel University has agreed to purchase more than 84 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of wind power, enough to meet 100 percent of its electricity needs. Community Energy will supply the renewable energy certificates. The university first began purchasing renewable energy in 2002 and has steadily increased its purchase size over time.
