Goodwill's Maryland Headquarters Goes 100% Green

Goodwill Industries International entered a two-year agreement with Constellation NewEnergy Inc. to purchase wind energy equivalent to 100% of the estimated annual energy use at its headquarters in Rockville, Md. The renewable energy certificates (RECs) will be sourced from Green-e Energy certified resources.

The purchase is part of an initiative for Goodwill and its independent member agencies to green their facilities to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards.
