U.S. Mint in Denver Purchases Nearly 13 Million kWh

September 2010 - The U.S. Mint in Denver, a federal facility that produces coins, purchased enough wind to meet 100% of its electricity use. The facility will purchase nearly 13 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually through Xcel Energy's Windsource program.
