Voluntary Renewable Energy Coalition Launched

The Voluntary Renewable Energy Coalition (VREC) was launched on May 26, 2010 to inform policymakers about the importance of the voluntary renewable energy market. The coalition has 50 founding members, including companies, nonprofits, school districts, and municipal agencies. The members believe that new climate or energy legislation should preserve the ability of customers to achieve their environmental goals through voluntary purchases of renewable energy.
