InterContinental San Francisco Purchases 100% Wind

April 2010 - The InterContinental San Francisco Hotel purchased 5.6 million kilowatt-hours of wind energy credits from Renewable Energy Choice. The purchase is equivalent to 100 percent of the hotel's electricity use and is designed to help the hotel achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification for Existing Buildings Operations and Maintenance.
