The New York Stock Exchange purchased renewable energy certificates (RECs) to match 100 percent of the approximately 28 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) used each year. The purchase is through a Constellation Energy subsidiary, Constellation NewEnergy, Inc. The RECs are from wind energy facilities and are Green-e Energy certified.
