The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Green Power Partnership issued revised lists of its leading green power partners nationally. Kohl's increased its purchase by 160 percent, from 851 million kWh to 1.37 billion kWh, moving from the third-largest purchaser to the second-largest purchaser. Bank of New York Mellon also increased its purchase by 238 percent, from 96 million kWh to 229.5 million kWh, moving from 36th largest purchaser to the 17th largest purchaser.
BD, a global medical technology company, and Carnegie Mellon University both entered the EPA's National Top 50 list, purchasing approximately 101 million kWh and 86.8 million kWh, respectively.
EPA's Green Power Partnership works with more than 1,200 partner organizations that are collectively buying more than 18 billion kWh of green power annually.
