U.S. Equities Realty Buys 100% Green Power for Historic Chicago Building

July 2009 - U.S. Equities Realty, a full service real estate firm, has purchased renewable energy certificates (RECs) to offset 100 percent of its electricity use at its commercial office building in Chicago, IL. Under an agreement with 3Degrees, the company will purchase 1.5 million kilowatt-hours of renewable energy per year for two years.

The historic eight-story building, built in 1888 on Chicago’s "Magnificent Mile," houses the headquarters of U.S. Equities Realty, ISMIE Mutual Insurance Company (ISMIE) and Illinois State Medical Society (ISMS).
