Mohawk Fine Papers announced a purchase of verified emission reduction (VER) contracts from two projects, including the 2.5-megawatt Greenville County (Enoree) Landfill Gas Utilization Project in Greenville, South Carolina, and another project aimed at reducing emissions at a wastewater treatment facility in Brazil. The purchase brings Mohawk Paper’s total carbon offset purchases to more than 29,000 metric tons.
