Costa Del Mar Sunglasses to Purchase Wind Power

Costa Del Mar Sunglasses announced that it is purchasing wind energy for 100% of its electricity use at its Daytona Beach headquarters facility. Under Costa Del Mar’s agreement with Renewable Choice Energy, the company will purchase over 400,000 kWh of renewable energy credits (RECs). In conjunction with the RECs, the company purchased carbon offsets to cover the estimated amount of carbon emissions associated with company travel (air and ground).
