Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), a global infrastructure developer and operator, announced that it is purchasing wind energy for 100% of its electricity use at its corporate headquarters in New York City. Under the agreement with Community Energy, Inc., the company will purchase 3.1 million kWh of renewable energy certificates (RECs). PB has also joined the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Green Power Partnership, a group of organizations that have made voluntary commitments to purchase electricity from renewable sources.
