BurstNET Buys 100% Wind

BurstNET Technologies, Inc., a Web hosting and Internet solutions provider, announced that it is purchasing wind energy for 100% of its electricity use at its operations center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Under the agreement with Community Energy, Inc., the company will purchase 5 million kWh of renewable energy certificates (RECs) sourced from a combination of Pennsylvania and national wind farms. As a member of Green-e Marketplace, BurstNET can now display the Green-e logo to inform consumers that it purchased 100% Green-e certified RECs.
