Diversified Global Graphics Group (DG3), a global print and communications solutions provider, announced it will purchase 4.3 million kWh of renewable energy certificates (RECs). Under the agreement with Hess Energy, the purchase will provide enough Green-e certified RECs to supply 100% of the demand for DG3’s flagship North American Division in Jersey City, NJ. The Jersey City operation joins two London-based DG3 divisions already purchasing 100% renewable energy. As a result of the REC purchase, the company was named to the EPA’s Green Power Leadership Club, a distinction given to organizations that have significantly exceeded the minimum purchase requirements for EPA’s Green Power Partnership program.
