Pepco Energy Services Supplies Wind to WWF

April 2008 - Pepco Energy Services announced that it is supplying wind energy to the U.S. headquarters of World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Washington, D.C. The WWF is an international organization focused on nature conservation. The one-year contract that began in January calls for Pepco Energy Services to provide WWF with nearly 5.1 million kWh of wind energy, or 100% of the energy consumed in the 235,000 square foot building for the year. Under this contract, Pepco Energy Services will provide wind energy generated from wind farms located in West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
