The recently concluded Democratic National Convention held at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles was powered with wind energy provided from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power's (LADWP) Green Power for a Green L.A. program. The wind energy is supplied to the utility by Enron Power Marketing, Inc., under a recently approved power purchase agreement.
