Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) has committed to purchase renewable energy equivalent to 100% of its electricity needs for the next 15 years. Under an agreement with PPM Energy Inc., SNHU will purchase more than 12 million kWh of renewable energy certificates (RECs) annually from PPM's national portfolio of wind energy projects, or other renewable resources, such as solar and geothermal.
