APS Unveils New Green Power Program

Arizona Public Service (APS) has unveiled a new green power program that offers customers the option to have either fixed blocks or percentages of their monthly electricity use supplied from renewable energy sources at a rate premium of 1¢/kWh. The Green Choice program will be supplied primarily from wind power purchases from New Mexico and geothermal power purchases from California. Customers must subscribe for a minimum period of one year.
