Mohawk Fine Papers has increased its wind energy purchases to match 100% of its corporate electricity use, representing all of the company's manufacturing, converting and distribution operations in New York and Ohio. The purchase increase to 100 million kWh annually from 60 million kWh follows a May 2007 announcement in which the company began moving toward carbon-neutral production of its premium paper lines.
