Office Depot Among Top Retail Green Power Purchasers

Office Depot, a retail provider of office products and services, has cracked the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Green Power Partnership's list of the nation's Top 10 retail green power purchasers. Office Depot currently purchases 76 million kWh of green power in the form of wind and biogas renewable energy certificates (RECs) under an agreement with Cadence Network, Inc. The purchase represents 12% of the office supply company's total annual electricity usage.
