IREA Launches REC Purchase Program

December 2006 - Intermountain Rural Electric Association, an electric distribution cooperative serving 133,000 customers in parts of 10 Colorado counties, announced a voluntary program through which customers can purchase renewable energy credits (RECs) from either wind or solar generation.
