Curtis Packaging, a Connecticut-based packaging design and printing company, announced that it will purchase renewable energy for 100% of its corporate electricity needs. The company will buy 4.5 million kWh of renewable electricity annually for the next three years from Community Energy, Inc., with about 30% of the power being purchased through the CTCleanEnergyOptions program. The purchase represents one of the largest single contracts executed under the state program.
