We Energies Reports 20% Sales Increase in 2005

December 2005 - We Energies announced that renewable energy sales through its Energy for Tomorrow green power program increased by 20% during 2005. Under the program, residential and business customers can purchase renewable energy for 25%, 50%, or 100% of their electricity needs at a premium of 2.04¢/kWh annually. More than 12,000 customers now participate in the program and collectively purchase more than 50 million kWh of renewable energy annually.
