The Defense Energy Support Center (DESC) is soliciting offers for a one-time delivery of 846,875 MWh of renewable energy certificates (RECs) on behalf of the U.S. Air Force. The RECs delivery is requested for September 30, 2005 and one-half of the RECs must meet the eligibility requirements of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Green Power Partnership. The Air Force already ranks first among EPA Green Power Partners with 321,416 MWh of annual renewable energy purchases. The solicitation response deadline is August 12, 2005.
