ConEdison Solutions and the New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC) announced an agreement under which the EDC will purchase 3.7 million kWh of wind energy annually for two city-owned industrial centers in Brooklyn: the four-million-square-foot Brooklyn Army Terminal and the one-million-square-foot Bush Terminal. The wind energy will be supplied under a wholesale agreement with Community Energy, Inc. and sourced primarily from the 30-MW Fenner Wind Power Project, which is located east of Syracuse, NY.
