Park Electric Offers Green Power

Park Electric Cooperative, a distribution co-op serving nearly 3,500 customers in southwestern Montana, is offering a renewable energy option under which its customers can purchase renewable energy for all of their electricity needs at a premium of 1.2¢/kWh above standard rates. The program is supplied by the Bonneville Environmental Foundation with "green tags" derived from wind (<98%), solar (>1%), and biomass (>1%) energy projects located in the Pacific Northwest. Participating customers are required to enroll for a minimum of one year.
